Built to install fast — built to last
Installation
Most Tattvarth profiles are mechanically fixed or set in a quality construction adhesive — typically MS Polymer or PU. Always pre-clean the substrate, dry-fit before final fix, and protect the visible face with the supplied film until project handover.
- Mitre cuts at 45° for clean inside and outside corners.
- Use a fine-tooth metal blade or chop saw with a stainless-rated wheel.
- Leave the protective film on until surrounding finishes are complete.
Maintenance
Our PVD coating is colourfast and scratch-resistant under normal indoor architectural use. Routine cleaning is straightforward — and there is no special chemistry required.
- Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth and warm water.
- For stubborn marks, use a mild pH-neutral detergent.
- Always wipe in the direction of the brush grain on Brushed Silver.
Do
- Pre-cut to the architect's spec to minimise on-site offcut waste.
- Mask adjoining surfaces during construction adhesive application.
- Use stainless-compatible fixings to prevent galvanic reactions.
- Remove the protective film slowly, parallel to the profile.
- Store horizontally on a flat surface before installation.
Don't
- Use steel wool, abrasive pads or harsh scouring powders on the finish.
- Clean with bleach, chlorine or muriatic acid — they will attack the PVD.
- Bend or hammer the profile cold — use a proper press brake or bending jig.
- Install in continuously wet exterior conditions without a project review.
- Store outdoors or in damp packaging — the protective film traps moisture.
